Pray for a New Leader for Drama Group

Since we have the car Robert and me are travelling a lot. One week we are going for the service to Kaptombes, then is the branch service. One week later we are at AIC Kapkuikui and the fourth Sunday a month we are at Tembererwe.
Especially the small churches are happy that we are attending their service now regularly once a month and that we have started small groups at Kaptombes and Tembererwe.
But therefore it is not possible for us any more to be every Sunday at Kapkuikui. Therefore I´m not longer able to lead the drama group at Kapkuikui. Because only once in a month I´m at the service at Kapkuikui and the children need someone who is helping and leading them.
Please pray that we find someone who is willing to lead the drama group that also in future they will be able to present a drama on each Sunday at Kapkuikui. Thanks.

Bartimaeus

On Sunday, the 11.8.13, the drama group was playing the „Healing of Bartimaeus”. The blind Bartimaeus was living at Jericho.
When Jesus came to Jericho he was calling with a very loud voice: “Jesus, son of David, have mercy!” The people ask him to be quieted but he didn´t care. He is continuing calling.
When Jesus heard him he is asking the disciples to bring Bartimaeus to him.
„What do you want me to do, Bartimaeus!“ „Heal me!“
„Because you believing in me I will heal you!“
Jesus touched Bartimaeus and immediately he could see.

„Jesus Stopps the Storm“

At the 4th of August 2013 the drama group was playing the story about Jesus stopping the storm.
Jesus was tired and slept on the boot.
Suddenly there was a storm and the disciples feared a lot.
They woke up Jesus. He stood up and said: “Be still!” And immediately the storm stopped.
Jesus has all power in this world. He is also able to stop the storms of your life.

The Story of Zacchaus

On the 28th of July 2013 we were playing the story about Zacchaus. As a tax collector Zacchaus takes money from everybody who is entering Jericho. But a lot of money he is also putting in his own pocket.
When Jesus is coming to Jericho also Zacchaus likes to see him. But he is too small.
Then he gets an idea: He is climbing a tree and now he is able to see Jesus.
Suddenly Jesus is coming to him and tells him that he wants to visit him at his home.
Zacchaus is very happy. He is preparing a good food for Jesus and his disciples.
Then he realizes that he did a lot of mistakes in his life. He is getting up and he is giving his money to the poor. Jesus is happy about him… (Luke 19: 1-10)

The drama of the „Good Samaritan“

Today the drama group was playing the story of the „Good Samaritan”. A Pharisee is asking Jesus: Who is my neighbour? Then Jesus was telling him a story.
There was a man on the way from Jerusalem to Jericho.
Suddenly the robbers were coming and they robbed him and they were beating him.
Then a priest was passing. He was not helping. Also a Levite was just continuing his journey when he saw him.
But a Samaritan stopped and helped the man. He cared for his wounds.
He was putting him on his donkey and brought him to the next inn.
The innkeeper took care for him.
Jesus was asking the Pharisee: Who is now your neighbour? The answered: The Samaritan… “Go now and help others…”

Drama Group started its ministry

Yestersday it was the first time for the drama group to start its ministry. They were playing the story of the “Prodigal Son”.
The Son spent all his money…
… and finally he came to the pigs.
Then he recognized his mistakes and went back to his father who was already waiting for him with open arms.
So God will forgive everyone who will ask him for forgiveness.
