Movies at AIC Kaptombes

Every third Sunday in a month we are at AIC Kaptombes.
First I am teaching Sunday School. Then the service is starting.
Since the 13th of July 2014 after the service we are watching Bible movies.
The children and adults are very happy about this. We hope that we will get some new church visitors because of these movies.
Please pray for this little church. At the moment there are four adults and almost 30 children. Many thanks.

Sunday Service at AIC Kaptombes

At the 6th of October 2013 we planned to go again to AIC Kaptombes. When we went to the car, a few dancers of AIC Kapkuikui wanted to escort us… the nine squeezed themselves in the car and we went together.
Like always we were welcomed very hearty. Robert mixed the dancers and during the service the dancers from both dancing groups were dancing together.
After that the nine dancers of AIC Kapkuikui showed a new dance.
During the service Robert was asked to preach and therefore we was preaching about the Lord´s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13).

Sunday Service at AIC Kaptombes

Because we have a car now we are able to visit the AIC Kaptombes once a month.
The church members were welcoming us very hearty and they are so happy when we are able to come…
The church was asking us for a report of the holiday program for the children and the youth and they were happy about so many children and youngsters who were attending our holiday program. The children presented a song which we have learnt together.
Also the new dancing group were dancing.
After that one church elder was preaching.
At the end of the service four members of the dancing group of AIC Kapkuikui were presenting a dance to the church.
While we were saying „Good-bye“ they were asking us when are you going to come again…

Dancing Group at AIC Kaptombes

At the 25th of August 2013 Robert went together with some youngsters of the dancing group to the AIC Kaptombes.
The youngsters were very happy about this opportunity.
They were dancing some songs and Robert wasa asked to preach.
It was a nice fellowship.

First Service at Kaptombes

On the 14th of April 2013 there was a service of a daughter church of the AIC Kapkuikui at the AIC Kaptombes. It was a service with all eight partner churches and every church was sending some members this service.
Old and young ones were coming, also youngsters.
Three pastors were making the program.
A famous choir of Marigat was singing some songs.
Robert and me were introduced to everybody very heartily.
The chairman of Loboi was preaching in Kalendjin and for us they were translating the sermon into English.
Raymond and Sally asked the church to bless their baby son.
It was a very nice service.
